GOLF PUTTING TIPS: PUTT STRAIGHT TO THE CUP WHEN IN DOUBT

One of the best golf putting tips is to stroke your ball straight to the center of the cup when there is any doubt as to the break of the putt..

The reason why this is one of the best golf putting tips is that so many times we tend to guess when there is some doubt as to how the putt will break.

The odds are when there is any such doubt of the break of a putt that we will guess wrongly. Consequently, the odds are much in our favor to simply square the putter head directly to the center of the cup when there is any doubt about the break of a putt.

This a best golf lesson whether faced with a long, short or intermediate putt.

How many times have you out-guessed yourself as to the break of a putt? Had you aimed your putter head squarely to the center of the cup instead and taken a smooth stroke in keeping with the distance to the hole, would not your ball ended up nearer the hole if not into it?

Therefore, in the future, if you have any doubt about whether your  putt is going to break to  right or left, whether faced with a short, intermediate or long putt, simply aim your putter head squarely to the center of the hole and make a smooth stroke in keeping with the distance to the cup.

The odds are you ball will end-up nearer the cup, if not into the cup, in comparison to allowing for a doubtful break of the putt.

You then should agree this is one of the best golf putting tips ever.
